The School works in close consultation with industry, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, network security, software engineering and strategic information systems.
University of Nottingham, School of Computer Science
An internationally established unit, the School pursues leading-edge research in areas such as automated scheduling and optimisation, mixed reality, foundations of programming and image processing. It has excellent links with industry leaders, and offers industrial placements to its students as part of their studies. The single honours Computer Science degree is accredited by the British Computer Society, an external recognition of teaching excellence and relevance to industry.
